Background & Job Description
The UNDP Communications Office leads digital outreach and branding efforts to strengthen the organization’s global impact. The Web Editor and Social Media Intern will work with the Digital Communications Studio (DCS), supporting Spanish-language digital content creation, editing, and campaign engagement.
This internship provides practical experience in web content management, digital storytelling, and social media engagement within an international organization.
Tasks
- Research and draft Spanish-language content for UNDP’s social media channels
- Support campaign engagement and audience interaction on platforms like Facebook and X
- Produce graphics and visual materials for Spanish social media accounts
- Edit, translate, and proofread web stories, headlines, and captions in Spanish and English
- Assist with uploading and curating stories, images, and videos on UNDP’s website
- Support the Spanish Editor in content coordination and outreach

Qualifications
Education and Certification
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Enrolled in a graduate program (Master’s or equivalent)
- Enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s program
- Recently graduated (within one year)
Experience
- Prior web and social media experience is an asset
- Strong Spanish writing and editing skills
- Knowledge of English required; French is desirable
